Every job starts with a free consult in your kitchen. We measure, you pick a slab from over 100 in stock, and you get a written quote the same day. No deposit to book the consult, no pressure to sign, and the number you sign is the number you pay unless you change the scope.
Once your cabinets are in and you have signed off, we template. That means capturing your actual cabinet runs, walls, and corners, not a stock size. Walls are never perfectly straight, especially in older Winnipeg houses, and templating is what makes the stone land tight against yours. From template, we are typically installing inside seven business days.
Fabrication happens before install day: cutting the slab to the template, polishing the edge profile you chose, cutting the sink opening, and drilling the faucet holes. Seams get planned to fall behind a faucet or at a cabinet break and color-matched so they disappear. If the layout allows it, we lay slabs out so the veining flows across joints and the island reads as one piece.
On install day the crew pulls the old top, checks the cabinet base is solid and level, sets the new stone, and seams it in place. Most kitchens are out with the old and in with the new in a single visit, and we haul the old counter away as part of the job. Removal and disposal are in the quote, not an extra. Our reviews keep coming back to the same line: the crew left it cleaner than they found it.
The written quote covers template, fabrication, edge profile, sink cut-out, faucet holes, delivery, install, and removal of the old top. Fabrication carries a 10-year warranty, and we are WCB insured and fully licensed in Manitoba. Clear the countertops and empty the sink cabinet so the crew can work. Cabinets should be in their final position and level before we template, since the stone is cut to match them exactly.
The adhesive around the sink needs to cure before plumbing goes back in, so reconnection typically happens the next day. We will walk you through the timing on install day.
