Common questions.
How long from quote to installed countertop?
Two weeks on average. Once your cabinets are in and templated, we're typically installing inside seven business days.
What's included in the quote?
Template, fabrication, edge profile, sink cut-out, faucet holes, delivery, install, removal of the old top, and a 10-year fabrication warranty. No surprise line items.
Do you serve outside Winnipeg?
Yes. We regularly install in Selkirk, Steinbach, Stonewall, Niverville, Headingley, Winkler, Morden, and Portage la Prairie. Travel is built into our quote, never added later.
Will the seams show?
On most installs, barely. We plan seams to fall behind faucets or at cabinet breaks, color-match the epoxy, and you'd have to know where to look to find them. We'll show you exactly where they'll fall before we cut.
What's the warranty?
Ten years on fabrication — seams, edges, install. Material warranties pass through from the manufacturer (typically lifetime on quartz). Stains and impact damage aren't covered, but we'll always come look.
Do quartz and granite need sealing or maintenance?
Quartz, no — it's non-porous. Granite gets sealed once a year with a wipe-on sealer we leave with you. Day-to-day, soap and water on both.
What if a slab cracks during fabrication or install?
Our problem, not yours. We carry the slab risk — if a piece cracks before it's bolted to your cabinets, we replace it and re-cut. Your timeline shifts a few days; your invoice doesn't.
Will the final price match the quote?
Yes, unless you change scope. Our written quote includes everything from template through install, plus removal of the old top. No "while we're here" charges.
Do you do bathrooms and commercial work?
Yes — bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, reception desks, and commercial fit-outs. Anything over 8 linear feet, we'd love to talk.
